About Carla

Carla has been painting ever since she can remember. She has always been passionate about making things and has gone on to study painting and drawing at the Ontario College of Art and Design and recently just graduated with her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto. What draws her to design is the constant juxtaposition of cities: the contrasting ephemerality of living systems, delicate and temporal, alongside the necessary infrastructure built to hold our feet/our cars/our buildings/our life. In her practice as a landscape architect she hopes to be an advocate for the chlorophyll based beauties that are  quite literally our means for survival.
